Integration Architect - Data & Cloud Focus

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Architect with a strong background in data movement, transformation, and cloud integration. This fully remote role offers a 6-month contract and involves designing, implementing, and managing complex integration solutions to drive business efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage functional and technical specifications for seamless system integration.
  • Utilise API-led methodologies for third-party integration, supporting both A2A and B2B frameworks.
  • Engage in data transformation processes to ensure efficient movement of data across platforms.
  • Implement best practices in integration to maintain high standards and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clarity and support for integration strategies.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and continuously refine integration processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide end-to-end solutions for integration across cloud and on-premises systems.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years as an Integration Architect or similar role with a focus on data and cloud integration.
  • Proven experience with integration tools and methodologies, including API-led development.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM MQ, IBM App Connect, MuleSoft, or similar platforms.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C.
  • Experience working within cloud environments, particularly Azure or AWS.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with fast data messaging and streaming technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Knowledge of integration security best practices, especially within cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in working with advanced data transformation and automation tools.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognised institution.
