The Opportunity
Working within a financial services company as a senior service desk engineer, carrying out the day-to-day IT support and focusing on larger projects as the business moves the IT team in-house.

The Role & Responsibilities:
Transferring the service desk from an external provider to an internal team. The candidate would be a people person able to provide support to all levels of the business as well as carry out larger projects.

  • 3rd/4th line IT support
  • Working within the ITIL framework
  • Project work
  • On-boarding devices and employees
  • Training & Mentoring Juniors
  • Providing 5-star customer service

The person:

  • Senior IT Support Engineer experience
  • Indepth understanding and subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365, Windows Server Technologies, Exchange Online, Active Directory (AD) & Azure AD
  • Networking & server management
  • BAU support and being the point of escalation
  • Worked in ITIL frameworks
  • Project management or migration experience

Desirable (but not required):

  • Worked within an MSP or IT consultancy
  • Worked in the Financial sector
  • ITIL certification
  • Microsoft Certified
