SQL DBA - AWS (Contract)
Location: England Country: UK Rate: £450 - £500 per day
 

  • SQL DBA - AWS
  • 9-months initial Contract
  • Outside IR35 - £500/day
  • UK Remote - Candidates must be based in the UK.

Fruition IT are looking for a highly skilled SQL DBA to join a new implementation project for a well-recognised tech focused business.

The role of the SQL DBA will be responsible for supporting and maintaining business-critical databases, taking ownership for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. In addition, the SQL DBA will undertake project work being part of the team developing and implementing solutions on AWS, to continually improve service levels, as well as the transition of new services into a live environment.

SQL DBA Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a dedicated SQL DBA role, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS
  • Experience with Cloud - in-particular AWS
  • A background working in a highly regulated industry, dealing with large volumes of data would be desirable, but not essential
