Senior .NET Developer - Remote (Permanent)

Location: Milton Keynes Country: UK Rate: £60k - £65k
 

FTSE100 firm are looking for an experienced Developer with at least 5 years' experience in C# .NET development. You will have worked on technical projects from inception through to delivery and have proficiency in .NET Core 3.0 or higher, Visual Studio 2013 or higher, and relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle. Experience with .NET content management systems, preferably Sitecore, and commercial experience using the MVC pattern and Microsoft LINQ is essential. You should also be well-versed in Front End Scripting with frameworks like React, JavaScript, SASS, and Angular JS.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a computer science-related discipline or possess equivalent experience. You should have strong skills in database design, programming (SQL), and query optimization, along with experience in source control systems such as TFS, GIT, or VSTS. A good understanding of unit testing frameworks and test coverage, including automated testing using MS Test, xUnit, Jet Brains, Selenium, and Moq, is highly desirable. Additionally, you should demonstrate experience in object-oriented design patterns, code refactoring, and an awareness of SOLID principles. The development team work remotely in the UK but do catch up together in the office in the Midlands when required.
