GDS Delivery Manager (Contract)

Location: United Kingdom Country: UK Rate: c£450 to £500 per day (Outside IR35)
 

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical GDS Delivery Manager to join our team on a 6 month contract basis, you will play a pivotal role in the development of a new digital product that harnesses cloud and geospatial technologies to unify and visualise complex datasets, aiming to enhance environmental management practices.

This project entails delivering a technically intricate solution, making a strong knowledge of agile delivery and a robust understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards is required.

Additionally, recent experience working with near-shore partners for development projects would be very useful for this role.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or similar role, with a focus on digital product development for the GDS framework
  • Strong knowledge and application of agile delivery methodologies and practices and familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and guidelines
  • Experience managing and collaborating with near-shore partners is highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
