SAP S/4HANA Cutover Manager (Contract)
Location: Europe-based (remote with limited travel)
Travel: Occasional travel to Spain and Switzerland (EU based required).

We are supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to take full ownership of end-to-end cutover activities across multiple EU rollouts.

This is a hands-on cutover execution role. It is not suitable for Project Managers who have managed cutover as a small part of a wider remit. The successful candidate will be a dedicated Cutover Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex SAP go-lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the full SAP S/4HANA cutover life cycle, including planning, mock cutovers, rehearsals, go-live and hypercare

  • Develop and maintain detailed cutover plans, runbooks and timelines

  • Coordinate multiple business streams and third-party vendors

  • Manage dependencies, risks and readiness across a complex programme landscape

  • Drive cutover governance and execution discipline in fast-moving environments

  • Act as the central point of accountability during go-live phases

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience as a dedicated SAP Cutover Manager

  • Proven hands-on delivery of S/4HANA cutovers (end-to-end)

  • Experience supporting large EU rollout programmes

  • Strong experience working with multiple vendors and system integrators

  • Ability to operate under pressure within large, complex organisations with a sizeable employee base

  • Strong project delivery methodology and execution mindset

  • FMCG experience beneficial but not essential

  • Must be based in Europe

This role suits a confident, delivery-focused cutover specialist who thrives in high-intensity programmes and takes full ownership of go-live success.
